Meditation based on the Lords's Prayer

O God, our loving heavenly Parent
We give honour to your name and nature
We long for the time when you will rule,
And your laws are obeyed on earth, as they are obeyed in heaven.

Give us the necessary food and help us to share the surplus with others
Forgive us our wrong and help us to forgive others, who have done wrong to us.

Do not lead us through too much trial,
And keep us free from the effect of evil.

For we acknowledge that You do and will control Authority, rule and power
And You will have the glory forever and ever.

Amen.

Do what you need to do,
For us and for you.
Give us just what we need for today.
Forgive us for our failures,
We forgive everyone who fails us.
Don't get us into trouble,
But protect us from going wrong.
